Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor and senior trainer to lead daily operations at Houston Medical Center, Houston Health Pavilion, and other Emory-owned facilities in the region. The role reports to Directors and focuses on safe, efficient, and compliant facility management.

You will supervise building and grounds mechanics, manage time and attendance, and conduct annual evaluations while coordinating contracted services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years in facilities maintenance with mechanical, building and electrical trade experience.
• Must have valid drivers license and acceptable MVR history for vehicle use; CPI training within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department and act as senior trainer.
• Provide recommendations to Directors to enhance department operations.
• Assist in promoting safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations across Houston facilities.
• Oversee time and attendance and annual evaluations for building and grounds staff.
• Handle disciplinary actions and coordinate contracted services for buildings and grounds.
