Job summary

UNC Pembroke is seeking a seasoned Facilities Operations leader to manage Grounds, Housekeeping, Event Set-Ups and Labor, and asset management across 55 facilities and 300 acres. You will supervise staff, control budgets, and ensure safety and compliance with university standards.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations and Maintenance, you will lead in hiring, training, and performance management, coordinating with Planning, Design and Construction to align projects with campus needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Seven to ten years in facility and grounds operations with five to seven years in supervision.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and life safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage Grounds, Housekeeping, Event Set-Ups and Labor and asset management for Facilities Operations.
• Oversee staff, budgets, and training; supervise performance and development.
• Coordinate with vendors, review plans, and ensure compliance with university standards and safety.
