Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Tech III to perform maintenance and repair of facility systems at our York, SC site. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, data center support, and related building infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable site operations.

The position requires hands-on technical skills, strong safety awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED degree required.
• 3 years related work experience.
• Technical degree and/or relevant licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair non-power block systems, structures and equipment.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and IT data center support tasks.
• Inspect and service electrical distribution, lighting and safety systems.
• Address fire protection, doors, and lab equipment maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair water/sewer systems and backflow devices.
• On-call duties and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
