Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a highly qualified Facilities Engineering Project Manager to lead medium-to-large infrastructure projects at national security facilities. You will manage internal and external teams, ensure scope, schedule, and cost targets are met, and contribute to value engineering initiatives.

The role requires engineering or architectural credentials, DOE Q-level eligibility, and a strong background in project controls, risk management, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture, plus five or more years of experience.
• Minimum of five years of Project Management experience.
• Experience with standard PM practices: project plan development, integration, scope, scheduling, cost estimation, communications, risk management, and DOE Q-level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Using engineering and architectural expertise to complete facility and infrastructure projects with high rigor.
• Lead internal or external engineering/architectural personnel to meet scope, schedule, and cost requirements.
• Contribute to value engineering proposals to reduce project costs.
• Collaborate with project controls to manage risks, opportunities, and issues during execution.
• Capture requirements, communicate design solutions, provide design assurance and constructability reviews.
• Make technical and programmatic decisions and be accountable for results.
