Job summary

Afton Scientific seeks an experienced Senior Facilities Engineer to maintain safe, reliable, and compliant sterile manufacturing operations. You will provide hands-on technical support for pharmaceutical process and production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen preventive maintenance with cross-functional teams.

You will support fill lines, isolators, autoclaves, and related machinery; ensure GMP records and documentation are accurate; participate in on-call rotations; and help drive

Qualifications

• Six years of maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment or an Associate degree/higher in a related field.
• Experience in a sterile fill-finish manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently following procedures.
• Background in continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource to production teams providing hands-on support for process equipment.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions and drive timely troubleshooting and resolution.
• Support fill lines, isolators, autoclaves, and other production machinery.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and other teams to diagnose and fix issues.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and calibration activities and update instructions.
• Keep GMP records and batch documentation accurate and on time.
