Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead facilities operations for a top technology campus in Redmond, WA. You will oversee building systems, preventive maintenance programs, budgets, and a skilled technical team to support mission-critical operations.

This role blends hands-on engineering with leadership, strategy, and innovation, reporting to the Engineering and Technical Services function. Ideal for a facilities leader ready to make a visible impact in a high-profile environment

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5–8 years of related experience.
Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads and meet physical requirements.
Experience in shift management or supervision preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and mathematical skills.
Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Lead facilities operations for a large campus, overseeing building systems and preventive maintenance programs.
Manage budgets, cost estimates for work orders, and departmental schedules.
Coordinate daily activities, schedules, and cross-training of staff.
Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and recruitment support.
Develop and communicate maintenance and safety procedures.
Ensure timely completion of work with high quality and clear information.
Drive improvements and operational plans aligned with CBRE goals.
Share expertise and mentor staff across disciplines.
