Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering/Maintenance leader for Icicle Village Resort in Leavenworth, WA. The role focuses on sustaining the property’s systems, leading a skilled team, and coordinating with vendors to ensure peak performance.

You will manage preventive maintenance, oversee guest rooms and public areas, and drive safety and compliance initiatives while coordinating budgeting and long-term capital projects.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of facilities/engineering experience, hotel, resort, or similar setting.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience leading maintenance or engineering teams.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Experience supervising contractors, reviewing proposals, obtaining bids, and coordinating vendor work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Lead the preventive maintenance program, scheduling, and documentation.
• Oversee maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, restaurant and back-of-house spaces.
• Manage the Engineering team including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors, review work, and verify invoices.
• Assist with engineering operating budget and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building and safety regulations.
