Leidos in Reston, Virginia, has an opening for an ICS/SCADA & Critical Infrastructure Engineer. The role focuses on understanding and interconnecting ICS and BMS in commercial and heavy industrial facilities.

The selected candidate will join an interdisciplinary team of government and contractor personnel, performing strategic facility analysis in a fast-paced government SCIF. Candidates must have TS/SCI Polygraph clearance and a STEM degree with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance and US citizenship.
• Principles, theories and concepts in a technical discipline with broad related knowledge.
• Experience with industrial control systems and/or building management systems.
• Strong communication skills for briefings with senior officials.

Responsibilities

• Characterize facilities using tradecraft, intelligence sources and engineering expertise.
• Provide engineering guidance and technical judgment throughout characterization.
• Develop formal products in line with customer requirements.
• Support innovative approaches to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Brief senior officials on capability trends, findings and analysis.
