Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced ICS/SCADA & Critical Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This role focuses on understanding commercial and heavy industrial facilities, as well as the interoperability of systems managed through Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related) and relevant professional certifications.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial control systems and/or complex building management systems.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Strong background in control systems and electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with complex industrial process controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior government officials.

Responsibilities

• Characterize facilities using tradecraft exploitation tools, intelligence sources, and engineering expertise.
• Provide engineering insight and technical judgment throughout characterization to produce accurate intelligence assessments.
• Develop formal products and deliverables that meet customer requirements.
• Support the development of innovative approaches to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Brief senior officials on capability trends, findings, and analytical assessments.
