Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Facilities Technician for the 2nd shift to support operation, maintenance, and reliability of our manufacturing and office facilities. You will perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of facility infrastructure and building systems.

Successful candidates are mechanically and electrically capable, can troubleshoot problems independently, prioritize work, and maintain safe, reliable facility operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on facilities/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing systems.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to facility service requests with safety and impact prioritization.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain work orders and records in JIRA and CMMS.
• Coordinate with day shift, vendors, and on-call resources.
