Siltronic AG in Portland, Oregon invites an experienced Facilities Electrical Engineer III to oversee electrical power distribution, life safety, and control systems. You will develop corrective actions to protect operations and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

The role requires five+ years in industrial settings, proficiency with AutoCAD, SAP, and energy monitoring, plus strong analytical and project‑planning skills.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience mentoring apprentices and advising junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the electrical master permit program in Oregon and Portland.
• Utilize Easy Power modeling, protection setting evaluations, and arc flash calculations.
• Own specifications and drawings for electrical, life safety, and control systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and maintenance personnel to resolve issues.
• Monitor energy usage and report to cost centers.
• Inspect electrical, life safety and control systems.
• Lead capital projects with cost estimation and scheduling.
• Advise on new methods and technologies to solve critical problems.
• Support energy management and conservation initiatives.
• Prepare project proposals, funding requests, and vendor evaluations.
