Job summary

Siltronic AG in Portland, Oregon is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead technicians, coordinate preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment availability. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and hands-on troubleshooting across fab environments.

You will review maintenance plans, manage overtime, and liaise with engineering and operations to drive safety, 5S practices, and reliable tool performance through SAP-PPM workflows.

Qualifications

• From the Essential Function/Major Responsibilities and Position Requirements sections, the candidate must demonstrate knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment, plan weekly crew activities, control equipment status and PMs, communicate effectively, lead analysis for repairs, ensure tool availability, coordinate with engineering, escalate issues, coach and develop team, review maintenance records, maintain 5S, and stay current with trainings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a weekly schedule of planned activities for the crew; coordinate with manufacturing and logistics.
• Control and report equipment status, PM completion and overtime.
• Communicate effectively with crew, peers and other groups.
• Lead analysis of equipment or systems to determine malfunction and coordinate repair actions.
• Ensure technical availability for tools through staffing and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering resources to improve tool recovery and knowledge.
• Escalate issues to fab management to secure resources.
• Coach and develop team; set objectives and motivate others.
• Review records of repairs, calibrations, tests, and procedures.
• Maintain 5S standards and promote safe practices.
• License management for state/federal requirements; schedule training.
