Job summary

Indotronix UK seeks a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to support mechanical, utility, and mission-critical infrastructure across a biotech manufacturing, distribution, R&D, and data center site in Maryland. The role covers equipment installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, with a focus on GMP compliance and GDP data integrity.

The position operates on a 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 years of related facilities or utilities maintenance experience, including GMP-regulated biotechnology/pharma site experience.
• Proven working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment.
• Working knowledge of IT data center and mission-critical systems (CRAC, UPS).
• Must comply with FDA, EH&S, cGMP, ISO regulations.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills expected.
• Strong knowledge of BMS/CMMS systems used in GMP environments.
• Experience contributing to GMP documentation (PMs, SOPs, work orders).
• Ability to support after-hours or on-call maintenance and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Respond to site infrastructure alarms and execute repair and mitigation activities.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting on HVAC, boilers, autoclaves, lab equipment, and IT facilities.
• Maintain GMP documentation and GDP data integrity for maintenance records.
• Coordinate with IT for data center infrastructure and change control procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job coaching.
