Advantage Tennis (HCK Recreation, Inc.) seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead high-volume indoor sports venue operations on Roosevelt Island. You will supervise a multi-shift team, ensure optimal court conditions, and uphold five-star guest experiences around the clock.

The role demands strong budgeting, operational oversight, and expertise in building infrastructure and MEP systems. A premium facility mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive facilities management experience in high-volume, premium venues.
• Strong time, task, and budget management with cost control skills.
• Experience with building infrastructure, MEP systems, OSHA safety standards, and local codes.
• Experience overseeing athletic facilities and/or specialized playing surfaces preferred.
• Proven track record in shift-based workforce management and surge staffing.

Responsibilities

• Shift leadership and delegation across a 15–20 person team, with a 168-hour weekly plan.
• Oversee maintenance and presentation of 12 indoor clay courts and surrounding spaces.
• Drive labor and cost efficiency while protecting margins and maintaining quality.
• Enforce cleanliness, safety, and premium guest experience across zones.
• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Develop weather contingency plans and scalable staffing during storms.
