Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a senior project manager in New York, NY for an exciting opportunity to oversee federal construction projects. The role requires applying general engineering and construction principles to interpret, organize, coordinate, communicate and execute work.

You will lead PM plans, schedules, cost estimates and budgets while coordinating with sub-consultants and in-house staff.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a project manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architectural or related field.
• Experience with projects where construction cost at award was at least $10 million.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects.
• Provide construction management oversight during all phases of the project.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of project schedules.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of cost estimates.
• Assist in preparation of project budgets.
• Prepare reports and logs such as inspector daily reports, cost to date, estimated cost to complete, submittals, RFIs, etc.
• Manage project sub‑consultants and in‑house support disciplines.
