Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Facilities Assessment Senior Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Nashville, TN. The role provides technical leadership and project management for facilities assessment initiatives, with heavy client interaction and mentorship responsibilities.

You will lead project meetings, prepare and review technical reports, and coordinate field teams across multiple projects while ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Architecture (NCARB), Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Licensure or certifications may be required depending on the type of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for facilities assessment projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings and client discussions.
• Prepare building science and infrastructure reports, perform analysis, and provide recommendations.
• Lead client meetings to present findings and conclusions and obtain sign-off on reports.
• Direct project setup and ensure appropriately trained staff are assigned.
• Oversee FCA and facility condition assessments, data collection, cost estimates, and capital planning updates.
• Manage multiple projects and review reports for quality and accuracy.
