Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Senior Fabricator to produce precision components for multiple project types. You will design and build jigs and fixtures and lead parts fabrication, reading shop drawings and maintaining quality control throughout the process.

You’ll set up both automated and manual equipment, lay out parts, and guide a small production team to ensure timely delivery, with safety and accuracy at the core of every task.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Apprentice or Vocational/Technical/Trade training preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operates automated equipment using cut lists to produce specific sizes.
• Operates manual shop equipment to make repeatable parts.
• Uses basic math to measure and assemble parts.
• Assembles components for end products as per drawings.
• Reads tape measures accurately and maintains measurement integrity.
• Maintains clean workspaces and shop equipment.
