Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Fabrication COE. The role focuses on sheet metal fabrication, process optimization, and design-for-manufacturing reviews within the ARS Fab COE.

You will drive make-versus-buy decisions, capability enhancements, and equipment selections for FMS-enabled, highly automated fabrication environments. Collaboration with design and manufacturing teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development and capital management.
Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B etc).
Preferred: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

Strong technical experience in managing Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) in highly automated fabrication environments.
Strong technical knowledge of lasers, punch presses, press brakes, panel benders and their configurations.
Develop specifications for new fabrication equipment, FMS and automated part handling.
Understand MES integration, fabrication scheduling systems and equipment connectivity.
Experience with digital manufacturing platforms and DMM (Aquilla Group) is a plus.
Support Lean, Six Sigma and Pro Launch through Process Maps, Standard Work and Control Plans.
Make vs buy analysis for part cost and quality optimization.
