Eaton's ES AMER ARS division seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Fabrication COE, onsite at Arden, NC, Charlotte, NC, Greenwood, SC, or Sumter, SC.

The role drives fabrications process optimization and make-versus-buy decisions within a highly automated environment. Responsibilities include designing for manufacturing, selecting fabrication technologies (FMS, lasers, presses), and coordinating with design teams for manufacturing-ready product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development and capital management.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize fabrication processes in a highly automated fab environment.
• Lead FMS-related projects including lasers, presses, and panel bending equipment.
• Develop equipment specs, integration plans, and DFM/DFX reviews for fabrication assets.
• Support manufacturing launch readiness and design-for-manufacturing integration with design teams.
• Create and maintain process maps, standard work, takt times, and DFMEA activities.
