Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced F5 Administrator to configure, deploy, and maintain BIG-IP systems for USCENTCOM on the CITS contract. You will design traffic management rules, handle SSL offloading, and write iRules to optimize application delivery.

You will work with network, systems, and security teams to ensure high availability, conduct upgrades, and support DoD timelines using Azure DevOps boards and agile practices while documenting configurations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP systems including Load Balancers and SSL offloading.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS).
• Experience with DoD/DoD 8140 or 8570 Certifications (e.g., Security+).

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP systems and ADCs.
• Design and implement traffic management rules (GSLB/LSLB).
• Manage SSL/TLS offloading and certificate handling.
• Configure and maintain iRules for application delivery.
• Upgrade patches and troubleshoot F5 issues to maintain availability.
• Collaborate with network, systems and security teams.
