Qualifications

• 5+ years of load balancing and network engineering experience.
• Experience in incident support, including managing high-severity/incidents and incident triaging with vendors.
• Excellent customer-facing communications and ITIL best practices knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of F5 LTM and GTM.
• 1+ year of F5 APM and ASM experience.
• 1+ year of AVI/VMware experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot advanced networking issues with protocols (BGP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL).
• Python development experience and, at minimum, Bash scripting experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming incident tickets and triage to restore service within SLAs.
• Create and modify configurations to restore service on incidents per Change Management.
• Provide resolution to traffic management incidents including troubleshooting, vendor engagement, and documentation.
• Work with Problem Management on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and client teams on core design requirements and standards.
• Document, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate network/infrastructure systems to resolve incidents.
• Provide implementation support to other suppliers and client teams as needed.
• Ensure new systems are monitored appropriately with alarms and timely changes to monitoring systems.
