Job summary

RTX, an aerospace and defense leader, seeks an engineering leader to become the F135 ECU Program Chief Engineer within Pratt & Whitney's Military Engines Engineering organization. You will guide development activities, ensure compliance, and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve ISR readiness.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, and it is an onsite position with a strong emphasis on strategic leadership and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 14+ years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 12+ years in aerospace/propulsion engineering or related fields.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance (Secret DoD).
• Experience leading large military development programs and cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for the F135 ECU development program across SIPT/CIPTs and PMTs.
• Represent engineering with internal stakeholders and external customers on ECU-related topics.
• Coordinate with DoD and Joint Program Office to ensure program requirements, validation, verification, and ISR readiness are achieved.
