Job summary

EOS Hospitality is seeking a seasoned Restaurant Front of House Leader for The Equinox Resort & Spa in Vermont. This role oversees hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for F&B staff, aligning with forecasted budgets and guest service standards.

Responsibilities include staff onboarding, inventory controls, daily briefings, events support, and ongoing SOP development with the F&B Director.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional restaurant leadership experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
• High standards of communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages front of house personnel including hiring, training, performance reviews, wages, coaching, discipline, termination, and weekly scheduling.
• Create effective, cost-efficient schedules for F&B team based on forecast and budget.
• Onboard and train F&B staff; ensure inventory management and ordering accuracy.
• Lead daily pre-meals/stand-up meetings and discuss operational focuses, safety issues, VIPs, and guest feedback.
• Assist with in-house banquets and events, including setup, AV, bar, and room arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with F&B SOPs and help develop local SOPs with the F&B Director.
• Develop and update pricing, specials, and menu changes in the POS system.
• Engage guests and ensure satisfaction through attentive service and timely course delivery.
• Oversee reservations, floor flow, and guest seating to maximize efficiency and guest experience.
• Coordinate with payroll for accurate timekeeping, hires, and terminations.
• Support the F&B Director/GM with additional assigned tasks and projects.
