Job summary

ManpowerGroup's Experis division is partnering with a medical device manufacturer in Fridley, MN to hire a Senior Engineering Technician - Extrusions. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot extrusion equipment, support process development, and ensure quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of extrusion experience, a high school diploma or a technical degree, and the ability to travel between Fridley and White Bear Lake facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a 2-year technical degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant technician experience.
• Demonstrated experience in tubing extrusion required.
• Direct experience participating in complex projects to commercialization.
• Experience with a medical multi-lumen extrusion preferred.
• Ability to move between the Fridley, MN and White Bear Lake, MN sites, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for engineering projects as an engineering process expert.
• Sets up, runs, and adjusts extrusion equipment per standards on multiple machines.
• Perform quality checks and document production details.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure quality and efficiency targets are met.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Create draft manufacturing documents (work instructions, checklists, setup sheets).
• Support process development and tooling optimization and implement controlled changes.
• Provide training to others based on expertise.
