Job summary

Avient is seeking a Senior Production Operator to run extrusion equipment and manage weigh-up/packaging in the production department. You will ensure high-quality product at the lowest cost and meet customer specs and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting extrusion lines, sampling for QC, and completing SAP transactions. Requires 3+ years plastics experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required for production roles.
• 3+ years plastics industry experience required, including colorant mixing, extrusion, and blending.
• Demonstrated ability to operate extrusion equipment and monitor processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start extrusion machines, verify controls per procedures.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation; troubleshoot issues.
• Operate extrusion equipment to process ingredients and ensure conformance to specs.
