Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up and run blending or extrusion equipment, ensuring quality and cost targets are met. The role requires loading ingredients, starting machines, and monitoring operations for safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include sampling for quality control, updating SAP records, and assisting with training new staff while adhering to ISO and EH&S guidelines at a 15 Corporate Dr, North Haven, CT location.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership and teamwork in all phases of the operation.
• Demonstrates and meets qualifications on all Blending or Extrusion operational areas.
• Performs machine setup and operation following procedures.
• Monitors production and equipment for safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and starts all machines, checking controls for adherence to procedures.
• Weights ingredients to meet recipe specs and loads materials into machinery.
• Labels finished product and completes required SAP transactions.
• Documents work completed and updates production logs and reports.
