Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager, External Communications to shape how senior leaders communicate with clients, industry audiences, and stakeholders. You will translate complex priorities into clear, compelling speeches, talking points, and thought leadership that reflect each leader’s authentic voice.

In this role, you’ll own high-profile initiatives from strategy through execution, coordinate communications across teams, and ensure timely, impactful messages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of experience in executive or corporate communications.
• Experience supporting executive communications (speeches, talking points, presentations, external remarks).
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and audience adaptation.
• Strong business acumen and discretion.
• Strong project management, organization, and deadline coordination.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships in a fast-moving environment.
