Job summary

Accurant LLC in Austin, MN is seeking an experienced external auditor to lead audits for non-profit, for-profit, and governmental organizations. You will conduct thorough research on complex financial reporting issues and prepare final adjusting entries for clients prior to tax return prep.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting, has at least five years of leading audits in a CPA firm, and lives near the office to meet clients in person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field required.
• CPA license preferred.
• At least five years of leading audits (non-profit and government) in a CPA firm setting.
• Must live in close proximity to the office in order to meet with clients in-person.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance accounting, and financial reporting standards.
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect & build relationships with clients, firm leadership and peers.
• Confidence in professional aptitude & the ability to effectively convey skills, knowledge and qualifications to clients.
• Experience with TaxDome, QuickBooks & Microsoft Office a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits for non-profit, for-profit, and governmental organizations.
