Job summary

Accurant LLC in Austin, MN is seeking an experienced tax accountant to work at our Austin, MN location. We offer flexibility, a competitive salary, incentive bonuses and an excellent benefits package.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in accounting, CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred, and have at least five years of extensive tax prep experience in a CPA firm setting. Must be able to meet with clients in person near the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field required.
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• At least five years of extensive tax prep experience (individual, corporate and partnership) in a CPA firm setting.
• Must live in close proximity to the office to meet with clients in-person.
• Strong knowledge of tax law, regulatory compliance, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, able to connect with clients, leadership and peers.
• Experience with Lacerte, TaxDome, QuickBooks & Microsoft Office a plus.
