Job summary

The LSU AgCenter in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor - Extension (Non-Tenure) to lead statewide program evaluation efforts. You will collaborate with agents, researchers, and specialists to design metrics, provide training, and develop resources that support evidence-based programs.

Responsibilities include developing evaluation methodologies, mentoring staff, supporting federal reporting, and keeping the Office of Organizational Development and Evaluation up-to-date.

Qualifications

• PhD required in Extension Education, Agricultural Education, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in Extension program evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of agricultural, environmental, or community development issues in Louisiana.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialists to develop evaluation metrics and methodologies statewide.
• Provide training sessions, workshops, and resources on program evaluation.
• Support needs assessment and evidence-based resources for program evaluation.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration for federal reports and updates to the unit website.
