Job summary

The University of Idaho Northern Extension District seeks a fiscal year Extension Faculty Senior Instructor, Non-tenure track, to lead 4-H Youth Development in Latah County and surrounding North Central Idaho. Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that respond to local needs.
• Experience working directly with youth and adult audiences and collaborating with community organizations to provide educational experiences for program audiences.
• Experience teaching, facilitating problem solving, communicating with varied audiences, managing conflict, building professional relationships, and supporting leadership development.
• Experience working as part of a team, coordinating Extension programming, and conducting marketing and promotional activities for 4-H programs.
• Experience communicating through oral presentations, written materials, active listening, and public speaking.
• Experience recruiting, training, coordinating, and supporting volunteers.
• Experience using technology and computer applications in program planning, delivery, communication, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in 4-H Youth Development and in 4-H Youth programming.
• Collaborate with Extension personnel across program and county lines and participate on State 4-H teams and committees.
• Manage and support the 4-H Youth Development program in Latah County and surrounding area.
