Job summary

Teledyne FLIR is seeking an Export Licensing Specialist to support U.S. export licensing under EAR and ITAR when required. You will prepare license applications, assess license exception eligibility, and partner with internal teams to ensure compliant international business activities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on EAR licensing experience, familiarity with license classifications, and the ability to work with SAP GTS or similar systems in a defense/regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, International Trade, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on EAR export licensing experience.
• Familiarity with EAR licensing requirements and license exceptions.
• Experience with ITAR is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review activities to determine export authorization requirements under EAR and ITAR where applicable.
• Prepare and manage export license applications and supporting documentation.
• Advise on EAR license exceptions and licensing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with export controls and maintain licensing records.
