Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Export Compliance Officer (Finance) to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of export authorizations and ensure adherence to EAR/ITAR. This role will work hybrid from Arlington, VA, reporting to the Export Compliance Manager.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in export compliance, strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR/OFAC, and experience with SAP/GTS. Collaboration with multiple business functions and leading process improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in export compliance.
• Experience with export regulations and licensing requirements.
• Experience in conducting export compliance audits and assessments.
• Expert knowledge of export regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.
• Experience managing export license applications, classifications, and authorizations.
• Experience in SAP/GTS
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering compliance training.
• Experience leading projects and using project management tools
• Experience using the Microsoft Office Tools Suite.

Responsibilities

• Administer export license records and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Licensing Operations and stakeholders to improve processes and metrics.
• Communicate regulatory updates through training and guidance.
• Develop and implement export compliance procedures and forms.
• Review and prepare export license applications for EAR/ITAR compliance.
• Support audits with data gathering and remediation.
