Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Export Compliance Specialist to support export compliance across Defense Electronics sites. You will be the go-to expert for ITAR/EAR classifications, licensing, and compliance guidance in a fast-paced environment.

The role collaborates with Contracts, Engineering, HR, and Trade Compliance leadership to ensure compliant operations. Preferred locations include Torrance, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Milpitas, Mountain View or Chicago, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of export compliance experience including ITAR and EAR.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations including licensing, screening, end-use reviews, and sanctions.
• Familiarity with OFAC regulations and country-specific sanctions.
• Experience with AES and EEI filings and exporting license processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational trade compliance guidance to enable compliant business transactions.
• Support trade compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate requirements and risks to leaders.
• Perform classification determinations (USML/ECCN) and screening.
• Assist with export license applications and authorization management.
• Support audits and metrics for trade compliance activities.
• Liaise with CITC, Customs, Licensing, and other teams.
