Job summary

Serco is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist - Sr. to provide senior-level export compliance support for a DoD customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission. You will review, coordinate, and execute compliance actions, track progress, and prepare briefings for leadership.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. On-site work in Arlington, VA, is required with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree and an additional 14 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supporting export compliance, international programs, compliance management, security operations, or related DoD support functions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance; active Secret clearance preferred.
• Ability to work on site in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
• Travel up to 10%, CONUS and OCONUS, as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level export compliance reviews, documentation, coordination, and process execution.
• Review complex export compliance actions, supporting documentation, and approvals for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to resolve issues and track actions.
• Support development and maintenance of export compliance trackers, process documentation, briefings, and recurring reports.
• Advise team members on documentation expectations, workflow requirements, and compliance-related action tracking.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and compliance status updates for leadership review.
