Job summary

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation is seeking an experienced exploration leader to oversee all exploration activities at the Hycroft project and to manage near-mine and regional programs. The role focuses on target generation, drilling planning, and data-driven decision-making to expand resource bases.

The candidate will mentor the exploration team, contribute to geological modeling, and ensure QAQC standards across programs.

Qualifications

• 10 years of exploration experience for Carlin-type, epithermal gold-silver deposits
• At least 5 years in manager roles within the mining industry
• Near-Mine and Regional Exploration experience
• Experience developing both surface and underground projects
• Strong QAQC knowledge and data assessment
• Proficiency in exploration and mining software
• GIS and 3D modeling skills
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and team-building skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead all exploration activities at the Hycroft project and manage the regional team
• Assess targets, define programs, and drive drill planning for resource growth
• Oversee target generation, pipeline management, and data synthesis for decision-making
• Ensure QAQC programs are implemented and issues resolved
• Mentor and train exploration staff
• Contribute to geological and structural modeling as needed
