Job summary

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation, a US-based gold and silver mining company, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory, logistics and contracts supporting our Hycroft operation near Winnemucca, NV.

You will lead SCM functions, mentor staff, optimize inventory, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-saving procurement decisions while ensuring regulatory compliance across the mine value chain.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a mining or manufacturing purchasing environment.
• Proven leadership and SCM skills.
• Strategic, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management.
• Hands-on ERP and supply chain systems experience.
• Budget development for operations and capital projects.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; degree preferred in business or SCM.
• Inventory control and purchasing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets SCM methodologies, policies, procedures and strategies for the SCM team and ensures adherence.
• Leads all SCM functions to align with corporate objectives.
• Mentors and develops employees within the SCM team.
• Manages SCM personnel and fosters an ethical, business-focused environment.
• Drives inventory management and controls to minimize obsolescence.
• Oversees procurement processes to ensure timely, economical purchasing.
• Collaborates with departments to ensure availability of goods and services.
• Establishes strategic relationships with suppliers for cost-effective supply.
• Oversees contract lifecycle, supplier performance and risk mitigation.
• Manages bulk commodity procurement.
• Monitors SCM activities to ensure effective operation support.
• Negotiates transportation contracts with logistics providers.
• Prepares annual budgets and reports on department performance.
• Implements process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Supports data-driven decisions with analytics and KPIs.
• Travel may be required.
