Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology or related field (required).
• Master's Degree or PhD in related field (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years progressive experience with emphasis in exploration, mineral economics, and leadership (required).
• Strong geology fundamentals, exploration procedures, business acumen, and commercial skills (required).
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (required).
• Broad geology knowledge across multiple terranes and gold/copper deposits (required).
• Experience with targeting tools including geophysical, geochemical, remote sensing, and field methods (required).
• Ability to develop complex 3D geologic models using Leapfrog (required).
• Proficient in ArcGIS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) (required).
• Strong data and business analysis skills and ability to present concisely to varied audiences (required).
• Organized, motivated self-starter with high standards (required).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide a strong contribution to safety culture and programs.
• Identify and support evaluation of third-party opportunities.
• Compile, clean, and analyze data to develop exploration targets.
• Develop 3D models to enable mineral exploration targeting and project assessment.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver exploration strategies and growth.
• Generate new target concepts to expand the exploration footprint in North America.
• Coordinate with land and legal to facilitate confidentiality agreements.
• Communicate with potential business partners professionally.
