Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. is seeking an Exploration Drill Supervisor in Lead, SD. You will lead drilling activities, coordinate with contractors and the exploration team, and ensure safety, data quality, and cost-effective operations across the Wharf operation.

The role requires experience in mining drilling, coordination with the Drilling Manager, and a strong emphasis on environmental and safety compliance while delivering high-quality samples and timely information for exploration programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Drilling Supervisor in mining.
• Surface RC and core drilling experience.
• Proficient in cost reporting and project management.
• Familiar with MSHA regulations and mining environments.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety and environmental leader, trainer, and champion.
• Work with corporate Drilling Manager to align with company policies.
• Maintain relationships with drilling companies; conduct regular meetings.
• Host program kick-off meetings to ensure alignment with exploration expectations.
• Schedule pad construction, restoration, and related logistics with drilling contractors and site teams.
• Manage materials and consumables; track drill costs to optimize spend.
• Oversee drilling operations, optimize assets, supervise contractors.
