United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a motivated security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and support offensive-defensive adversary tracking within a defensive TAC role. You will perform reverse engineering, exploit analysis and signature development for large-scale hunting and prevention.

This remote role emphasizes collaboration, technical writing and stakeholder briefings, with opportunities to contribute to intelligence products and mitigation strategies across teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques for userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong team player.
• Proficient with reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Knowledge of Python programming.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate research and independently validate findings.
• Proven ability to explain complex tech concepts and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Improve detection of exploits, payloads and attack vectors.
• Identify new data sources to increase threat visibility.
• Maintain understanding of exploit internals through reverse engineering.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis workflows.
• Create a classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities used.
• Contribute to active mitigation with technical expertise.
• Develop host- and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and prevention.
