Job summary

VulnCheck is seeking a Senior Exploit Developer with a strong background in reverse engineering and exploit development. You’ll join the Initial Access Intelligence team to deliver exploits and artifacts that reveal exploitation from exposure to execution and detection.

This 100% remote role prioritizes candidates located in our U.S. hubs in Massachusetts, Maryland, or Austin, TX, while offering opportunities to work on open-source projects and vulnerability mapping frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience with reverse engineering to analyze vulnerabilities.
• Experience writing exploits for initial access (RCE) without authentication.
• Ability to work on technical projects remotely, independently and in small teams.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer software to identify root causes of vulnerabilities.
• Author original software exploits for initial access vulnerabilities when PoC code is scarce.
• Implement detections (Suricata, Snort, YARA) for initial access exploits in the wire.
• Write ASM queries to locate vulnerable systems likely to be targeted.
