Elsewhere Entertainment is seeking a Senior Expert Technical Designer to join the development of a new IP. You will collaborate with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining.

The role combines ownership of technical design rules, pipelines and tools, mentoring of designers, and hands-on prototyping from ideation to final quality. Willingness to relocate to Warsaw after immigration completes is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in lead technical design roles shipping titles
• Experience driving technical design teams and pipelines
• Ability to communicate design vision and align it within the team
• Experience with Unity, Unreal or similar tools
• Strong self-motivation and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Set the overall vision and direction for gameplay and content designs
• Create technical design rules and principles for the game
• Collaborate on pipelines and tools supporting gameplay and design implementation
• Own technical design in gameplay prototypes from ideation to final quality
• Mentor and train technical designers
• Develop technical design features, systems and tools for an unannounced AAA project
• Prepare one-page pitches, briefs and outlines to communicate designs
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines and keep partners informed
• Stay current on industry trends and techniques
