Elsewhere Entertainment seeks a Senior Expert Technical Designer to join the development of a new AAA IP. You will partner with the Gameplay Director to set the overall vision for gameplay and content designs, and lead the creation of technical design rules for the project.

In this role, you will own technical design in prototypes, collaborate with multiple teams on pipelines and tools, mentor designers, and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders while staying current with

Qualifications

• 6+ years in lead technical design roles
• Experience driving technical design teams and pipelines
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine

Responsibilities

• Set vision for gameplay and content designs with leadership
• Create technical design rules for the whole game
• Collaborate on pipelines and tools for design implementation
• Own technical design in a gameplay prototype from ideation to final quality
• Mentor technical designers
• Develop technical design features and tools for an unannounced AAA project
• Create pitches and system outlines for communication
• Implement systems in proprietary tools
• Collaborate across multiple fields and keep partners informed
• Provide regular feedback on features and the game
