Job summary

Elsewhere Entertainment seeks a Senior Expert Technical Designer to join the development of a new IP. You will partner with leadership to set the overall gameplay and content design direction and own the technical design rules for the project.

You will collaborate across teams on pipelines, tools, and implementations, guiding a prototype from ideation to high-quality execution while mentoring fellow designers and staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (6+ years) in lead technical design roles shipping titles.
• Ability to communicate design vision and align it across teams.
• Experience driving technical design pipelines and teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Gameplay Director and Content Director to set vision for gameplay and content designs.
• Own technical design rules and principles for the game.
• Collaborate on pipelines, tools, and technical solutions supporting design implementation.
• Lead a gameplay prototype from ideation to final quality implementation.
• Support hires, training and mentoring of technical designers.
• Prototype and develop technical design features and systems for AAA project.
