Job summary

Immerse Analytics LLC is seeking a cost/price analyst to support pre-award contracting activities from Reston, VA to the DC area. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the FAR/DFAR and experience with IGCEs, with TS/SCI level considerations as applicable.

Responsibilities include performing cost/price analysis on major contractor proposals, developing pricing objectives for negotiations, forecasting price trends, and integrating technical evaluations into comprehensive pricing reports.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years experience at senior level with a bachelor’s degree.
• 13+ years experience at expert level with a master’s degree.
• Recent relevant actions within the last 2 years.
• Experience performing cost/price analysis on major contractor proposals.
• Ability to forecast price trends and develop pricing reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost/price analysis on major contractor proposals, examining direct and indirect costs.
• Assist in developing cost/price objectives for negotiations.
• Provide forecast of price trends and production efficiencies using analytic models.
• Coordinate comprehensive pricing reports integrating technical evaluations of cost elements.
• Apply analytic methodologies to solve issues and lead teams as needed.

Job Description

Provides cost/price analysis support with comprehensive knowledge of the full scope of laws, regulations, and policies that affect both the development of IGCEs and the cost/price analysis of proposal submitted for all pre-award contracting activities up to and including contract award.

Job Requirements

• Requires 8-12 years of experience – Senior Level w/Bachelor’s Degree
• Requires 13+ years of experience – Expert Level w/Master’s degree
• Must have performed relevant actions with relevant experience within the last 2 years.
• Perform cost/price analysis on the various elements of major contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the significant direct and indirect cost elements.
• Assists in the development of and/or make recommendations for the cost/price objectives to be used in negotiations.
• Provide a forecast of price trends, economic factors and efficiencies in production for future accounting periods using analytical techniques such as random sampling, cost models, and parametric cost models.
• Request, coordinate and integrate into a comprehensive pricing report the various technical evaluations of cost elements
• Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies to solve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and historical data points.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for program management and acquisition-based requirements and it’s enabling services.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the FAR/DFAR, and other IC/DoD statutes and regulation policy
• Demonstrates ability to lead teams in resolving multifaceted or critical time-sensitive issues.
