Job summary

Swickard Auto Group is seeking an experienced service advisor for BMW of Portland in Portland, OR. The role requires five+ years in a franchised dealership and luxury-brand experience. You will guide guests from write-up to delivery, translate complex repairs, and uphold BMW standards.

Expect a high-volume environment with a focus on CSI and guest satisfaction, along with paid training and a clear career path within a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service adviser experience in a franchised dealership.
• High‑line or luxury brand experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated history of strong CSI/NPS performance and guest loyalty.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK preferred.
• Polished, composed communicator with demanding clientele.
• Ability to manage high volume accurately without sacrificing guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for guests throughout the service process from write-up to delivery.
• Translate repair information into clear communication to earn trust and set expectations.
• Build precise estimates and commit to realistic timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep workflows on schedule.
• Identify and present additional service recommendations for guest safety and vehicle performance.
• Deliver a white-glove pickup and delivery experience aligned with BMW standards.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and comply with documentation standards.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the service process -- from write-up to delivery
• Translate complex repair information into clear, confident communication that earns trust and sets accurate expectations
• Build precise estimates, commit to realistic timelines, and follow through on every promise made to the guest
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repair workflows moving efficiently and on schedule
• Identify and present additional service recommendations that protect guest safety and vehicle performance
• Deliver a white‑glove pickup and delivery experience consistent with the BMW brand standard
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and uphold all documentation and compliance standards
• Represent BMW of Portland with the expertise, professionalism, and genuine hospitality the brand and its clientele expect

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of service advisor experience in a franchised dealership -- required
• High‑line or luxury brand experience strongly preferred -- BMW, Mercedes‑Benz, Audi, Porsche, Lexus, or similar
• Demonstrated history of strong CSI and NPS performance and a loyal repeat guest base
• Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferredli>Polished, composed communicator -- able to hold a professional conversation with a demanding, knowledgeable clientele under pressure
• Able to manage high volume accurately without losing attention to detail or the guest experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A hospitality mindset -- five years in this business has taught you that how you treat people is everything
