Job summary

Bowman is seeking an Expeditor to monitor purchase orders and ensure materials and documents meet project schedules. You will coordinate with vendors and project teams to drive on-time delivery and align with production timelines.

In this role, you will proactively communicate, track progress, address delays, and resolving issues related to quality, quantity, or changes in scope. A strong sense of urgency and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years without degree.
• 7+ years in a dedicated Expeditor role monitoring vendor progress, schedules, deliverables, and on-time delivery.
• Oil & Gas EPC industry experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicates with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery.
• Expedites vendor production, tracks progress, verifies shipping schedules and on-time delivery.
• Schedules kick-off and biweekly meetings after PO issuance to align requirements.
• Ensures vendor schedule is maintained and deliverables are provided.
• Resolves issues with late deliveries, quality or quantity discrepancies.
• Coordinates with supplier and logistics for material transportation.
• Communicates any changes to order cost or schedule.
• Informs project team of potential schedule impacts.
• Oversees close-out of the order.
• Coordinates inspections.
