Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks an experienced Exhaust Engineer to lead facilities mechanical exhaust design and optimization. The role develops energy-efficient, safe and sustainable infrastructure and supports multi-site project execution.

You will drive standardization, implement automation, manage costs, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with design, WIF, FSUS and other teams. This is a hybrid, full-time position with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering or related field with 7+ years of facilities system design or operations experience.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical exhaust systems and optimization.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Familiarity with building codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and maintains infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities; determines facility and equipment specifications.
• Performs analysis of operational processes, energy use, safety processes, and prepares budget estimates for projects.
• Designs and oversees facility expansion, layout, system capacity management and forecasting.
• Coordinates maintenance schedules and oversees contractors performing maintenance activities.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, codes, and health and safety standards; participates in audits and inspections.
