Job summary

Aurora in Seattle is seeking a Principal Executive Recruiter to own executive and leadership hiring across the company. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will drive end-to-end searches for Director-and-above roles and serve as a trusted advisor on org design, role scoping, market intelligence, and compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience with executive search.
• Proven end-to-end Director- to C-level search experience.
• Advising C-suite on scope, compensation, and org design.
• Structure and close executive compensation packages.
• Deep sourcing and market intelligence for senior talent pools.
• Discretion and confidentiality in executive searches.
• Experience using AI to accelerate research and sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end executive search lifecycle for Director+ roles.
• Design executive interview processes and candidate summaries.
• Advise leaders with talent intelligence to shape org design and hiring strategy.
• Structure and negotiate executive offers with Total Rewards and Finance.
• Collaborate on succession planning and leadership workforce planning.
• Share market learnings with the TA team and raise hiring standards.
• Mentor recruiters and lead training to improve hiring practices.
