Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Principal Executive Recruiter to own executive and leadership hiring across the company. You will lead end-to-end searches for Director-and-above roles and partner with the executive team on org design, market intelligence, and compensation strategy.

As the senior-most recruiter, you will set the standard for executive search practices, mentor peers, and help shape Aurora’s leadership bench to fuel the company’s next growth phase.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience with executive search leadership.
• Proven track record closing Director- to C-level searches.
• Experience guiding role scope, org design, and compensation discussions with executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end search lifecycle for Director+ and above roles across Aurora.
• Design and calibrate executive interview processes and create summaries for interviewers and leaders.
• Advise executives with talent intelligence, market mapping, and competitive insights to shape org design and hiring strategy.
• Structure and negotiate executive offers with Total Rewards and Finance (cash, equity, sign-on).
• Partner with People Business Partners, Finance, and TA leadership on succession planning and leadership workforce planning.
• Share market learnings with the broader TA team to strengthen hiring.
• Mentor recruiters and sourcers and lead training to raise hiring standards.
